It’s amazing the difference $1 can make. When you count the number of Tim Hortons Smile Cookies sold for $1, you reach $167,000 benefiting the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. That’s more than 167,000 cookies in seven days!

“Thank you to all the customers and the community who helped Tim Hortons reach this amazing goal,” said Lori Finck, Corporate Giving Coordinator for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. “We are so proud of the community’s accomplishment.”

“We sincerely thank everyone who helped make this year’s campaign such an overwhelming success,” said Vaishally Bhatti, Regional Marketing Manager, Tim Hortons. “Raising awareness for the new pediatric emergency facility through the Smile Cookie Campaign has encouraged more community involvement. I think that’s something we can all smile about!”

To date, Tim Hortons has raised more than $780,000 for the Stollery, with $319,000 headed to the Stollery’s new pediatric emergency facility expansion.

This year’s Smile Cookie Campaign ran from September 19 to 25. Tim Hortons sold Smile Cookies to support local charities, hospitals and community programs from coast to coast. With proceeds from Edmonton and area and northern Alberta benefitting the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, our community treated themselves to the tasty chocolate chunk cookies while supporting sick and injured children.
